Growing up, Rachel had a ball in her hand since she was born. She grew up playing for Pennsville Little League and Pennsville All-Stars 9-14. Freshman year of HS, she started varsity (P/2nd) and pitched PMHS to a State Championship in 2008. Rachel started playing Travel Softball at age 12 and started playing a National Gold Schedule in the 8th grade and was recruited to play Division I at Rider University where her career was cut short due to injury.
Rachel started giving softball private lessons at age 15 and started coaching a Travel Softball Team at age 18. As a senior in college, Rachel became the Volunteer Assistant Coach at Kennesaw State University under Hall of Fame Coach Scott Whitlock. She then went on to be come a Graduate Manager at Tennessee where she helped the Lady Vols to the 2015 Women’s College World Series. After receiving her Master’s Degree from Tennessee, Rachel became the Assistant Coach at the University of Delaware, helping the team break Delaware records and to the conference tournament two years in a row. Currently, she is the owner of Rachel Coleman Sports, East Coast Softball Tournaments, softballrecruiting.com and Head Coach of EC Bullets Coleman, a National Travel Softball Team.
As a player and coach, Rachel is known for her passion, love of the game and the desire to help her teammates and student-athletes succeed on and off the field.
